So my friend Pammy has a super cool daughter and she has a sticker that is my new life motto.
How completely awesome is that?? So immediately I had to go through my lipstick. Let's face it, I have a drawer full but really only four that are in current rotation.
The first is an every day lip color that is called Delightful. Yeah, that one is a bit of stretch isn't it? So maybe it's not a coincidence that it wears off very quickly. It probably just can't jive with my true mojo or something.
The one that Mr. P doesn't like but is my "I'm not going to work today" lipstick is called Lustering. It's a bit um, "in your face" but I think I pull it off. Since I didn't know what lustering meant, I had to look it up. I didn't want to be wearing something that meant I hated giraffes or something. (because I am totally giraffe friendly-totally) Here is the definition of lustering as a verb:
1. To give a gloss, glaze, or sheen to. 2. To give or add glory, radiance, distinction, or splendor to. |
So there you go. All gloried up and but where am I going?
My date night lip color is called Amorous. My friend Lynn knew what that meant right off the bat. She's super smart like that. Once again, I had to look it up. Because I'm not super smart like that. So here it is:
- inclined or disposed to love, especially sexual love
- showing or expressing love
- of or pertaining to love
- being in love; enamored
And my favorite color right now is called V.I.P. I love it. Love. Or maybe it's the amorous part of me. Now I just need to figure out what the V.I.P. stands for. Very Important Princess? We shall see... :)
So, can I be as wild as my lipstick suggests I am? You betcha! Can you?
I can't wear lipstick. I look like a clown. No matter what color. And I'm too lazy to put it on. I rarely even wear chapstick. lol.
ReplyDeleteWell-I hope it's a racy chapstick-like Burt's bee's or something :)
